Description

Position Summary: 

The Cybersecurity Project Manager will provide IT technical support to CIS Project Management, Sales, and Marketing in support of new business opportunities that directly contribute to organization revenue growth objectives. The Cybersecurity Project Manager is directly responsible for assisting with and/or leading IT security discussions with potential and existing bioMérieux customers with the goal to provide detailed networking configurations and security protocols and measures that are available with bioMérieux products. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works with the CIS Project Managers to assist in managing IT pre-sales calls to review potential customers IT security and networking requirements as well as to present available bioMérieux options to meet customers’ IT needs.
  • Understands the relationship and dependencies of bioMérieux core products to facilitate and lead security related discussions and solutions for operations and business needs.
  • Responsible for providing or assisting in the planning of customer IT security customer meetings including becoming familiar with customer’s network schema, instrumentation, and software inventory and preparing network drawings to support customer meetings. Provide or assist with preparing customized slide deck for presentation at IT security customer-facing meetings. 
  • Manage product implementation projects within established scope, schedule, and budget while meeting and exceeding PM project management standards and CIS priorities.
  • Provide feedback to local customer support, Global Customer Support, and Level 3 development support on market IT Security needs for future product security patches.
  • Assist the Lead Cybersecurity Specialist with maintenance of the DoD/DHA Authorization to Operate (ATO) and VA Medical Services Enterprise Risk Assessment (ERA) programs across product lines. 
  • Manage the INFOSEC Risk Assessment documents in support of new and existing business relationships ensuring risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. 
  • Assist the Lead Cybersecurity Specialist with the Customer Service Cybersecurity Event Management Team’s response efforts. 
  • Escalates urgent or critical issues to the Lead Cybersecurity Specialist when unable to resolve or mitigate. 
  • Support project management team members to ensure success of projects while maintaining customer service focus.
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Systems or related technical field with 3+ years’ experience managing cyber security related projects.
    • In lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma with 7+ years' experience in Product Security and/or IT Security and/or IT Project Management (any combination)
  • CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification required, or certification achieved within 12 months of hire.
  • Project Management certification is preferred 
  • Experience with project management software tools desired.
  • Healthcare/Pharmaceutical/Medical Device experience is a plus
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment is a plus
  • Experience working with government agencies or government contracting for diagnostic equipment or security is a plus
  • Experience with tools for responding to security questionnaire (Responsive, RFPIO, or equivalent) is a plus
  • Experience in analyzing customers' business needs and laboratory product/system integration objectives to assist in the delivery of IT solutions to meet customers' needs.
  • Experience in following, maintaining, and improving the implementation methodology
