Description

The Technology Transfer Project Coordinator II is relied upon for assisting with projects of any complexity, managing assigned activities, and helping to communicate workflow and process changes to affected project teams. They will be responsible for supporting improvements to existing processes and assist in the transfer of new processes to manufacturing. They work with management to improve Technology Transfer Project Coordinator training, and assist with training and mentoring of peers. They provide leadership and support to work center and program projects, as assigned.

Primary duties include:
  • Assist Technology Transfer Project Managers (PMs) by coordinating updates and release of documentation and cross-functional communication with supervision from the Product Transfer Manager and/or oversight from PMs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate and complete project and task needs, not already assigned to a PM.
  • Works with Product Transfer Manager and/or PMs to determine scope of work and project timelines.
  • Schedules meetings, creates agendas, documents meeting minutes, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Represents the Technology Transfer Department on tasks they are assigned.
  • Reports on status of work packages to the Product Transfer Manager, PM, Program Manager or subject matter experts where applicable.
Training and Education:
  • Associates Degree required, preference in life sciences or engineering fields
    • BS or BA in science or engineering preferred
    • Appropriate college level coursework and/or significant related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience:
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience
    • FDA, ISO, and/or cGMP/cGLP compliant environment preferred
      • Regulated, non-IVD industry experience may also be considered
    • Experience in project management or closely related field desired but not required
