The Global Sales Capabilities Leader will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive commercial training programs tailored for regional and local teams, on the clinical and industrial applications scope. Emphasizing a “train the trainer” model, this role focuses on enhancing sales teams and sales managers’ competencies to ensure widespread adoption across commercial teams. The leader will collaborate with Regional Commercial Excellence partners to identify training needs and deploy targeted programs that elevate the performance of sales teams, covering areas such as strategic selling, account leadership, negotiation skills, and sales coaching.
Main Accountabilities:
Strategic Approach Deployment: Champion the implementation of the Strategic Selling Approach and Account Leadership methodology, utilizing Korn Ferry certification to create tailored study cases for clinical and industrial applications, based on customer personas and sales archetypes, ensuring impactful team development.
Program Development: Lead the design and rollout of specialized Sales Capabilities training programs that align with distribution market expectations, making necessary adaptations.
Collaboration for Optimization: Work closely with Commercial Enablement teams to maximize the utilization of CRM and CPQ tools, ensuring streamlined account and opportunity management.
Program Roll-out Planning: For each training program, prepare detailed rollout plans and establish KPIs to measure engagement and impact, in collaboration with Regional Commercial Excellence Leaders.
Skill Assessment and Recommendations: Develop and implement assessments to evaluate the skills of commercial teams and provide tailored training recommendations.
Insights Collection and Improvement: Conduct regular follow-ups to gather insights on training effectiveness and tool relevance, analyzing feedback to propose updates or improvements as necessary.
Who Are You?
Education: Post Graduate degree in science and in Business/Management with at least three years of sales or business experience.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in In Vitro Diagnostics / Life science is a plus.
Training Experience: Previous experience in training delivery is essential.
Certification: Korn Ferry/Miller Heiman certification is required for leading training sessions.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., PPT, CANVA) and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in a second European language is advantageous.
