Assistant Sales Manager

Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job: 

  • To ensure rapid revenue growth for the Pharma product line business in North China at both local and national levels by formulating and implementing a comprehensive commercial action plan. This involves closely collaborating with customers under a distributor model, as well as establishing strategic direction through the creation and development of a robust distributor network.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for achieving revenue results within the assigned territory: implement the sales strategy of BMX Solution to develop a comprehensive sales action plan, conduct key account visits and management, prepare quotations and tenders, all aimed at driving budget achievement. 
  • Oversee the distribution network, including collaboration with distributors, development of commercial tenders, and communication with end users. Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to follow up on both equipment and reagent businesses. 
  • Analyze regional market size and potential opportunities; collaborate with the CHINA and ASPAC marketing teams to formulate mid-term and long-term business growth strategies. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders on the customer side. 

 

Job qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in fields such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or other relevant Life Sciences disciplines is required. 
  2. A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry (including Life Science, CGT, Bioproduction, and Traditional Pharmaceutical sectors) is essential; candidates with at least 5 years of related experience will be considered favorably. 
  3. Demonstrated strong sales skills and a well-established local business network are necessary. 
  4. Willingness to travel within the designated region for more than 50% of the time is required. 
  5. Familiarity with CGT/Bioproduction workflows would be an advantage. 
  6. Self-motivated individuals who are results-driven are preferred.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively within a matrix organization is essential.
