We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Logistics Assistant to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract (CDD). The successful candidate will support the monitoring of third-party logistics providers (Distribution Centres and Freight) in the context of an important transformation project and assist in managing the local stock of spare parts. This role is supporting smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain in the Benelux.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support monitoring and coordination with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Track and report on the performance of logistics providers, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in managing the local stock of spare parts.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Support the supply chain and service teams in daily operations (equipment shipment, returns).
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in resolving any logistics-related issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in business, supply chain or logistics, or equivalent via past experience; certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in ERP (ideally SAP), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • English proficiency is compulsory; knowledge of Dutch and/or French will be considered a plus.
