BioMerieux Benelux is seeking for an HR administrator and payroll specialist , the ideal candidate will have an interest in advancing towards payroll and Compensation & Benefits. This role is perfect for consultants with a first experience in HR who are looking to grow their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an HR administrator and Payroll specialist you will be in charge of the payroll , contract administration and on boarding of our employees in Belgium and Netherland .

Your Key Responsibilities:

Payroll :

  • Social Legislation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of social legislation and ensure compliance within the organization.
  • Manage the payroll from A to Z to comply with deadlines.
    - Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.)
    - Maintain personnel database regarding salaries.
    - Prepare reports to relevant
    departments about payroll, company budget and
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees on Payroll issues, policies and contracts.

Comp&Ben

  • Coordinate and implement  benefits and policies  : Health insurance , meal voucher , eco chec , WKR ( Netherland) …

HR Administration :

Documentation, manage HR records and administrative tasks.

  • Partner with the HR manager and  legal advisors to ensure HR policies are up-to-date, compliant with local and international laws and scalable.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Produce relevant paperwork, letters, contracts, and reports for all HR-related matters, maintaining accuracy and compliance..
  • Manage HR systems and perform configuration activities (e.g. yearly vacation rights, changes in working schemes)
  • Contract management
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage the new joiner and leaver process for employees . Coordinate the onboarding and offboaording  process to ensure new hires integrate seamlessly and feel connected from day one.

BioMerieux is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR to drive our HR administration and payroll operations in a fast-paced, scale-up environment. This role is crucial in enhancing our employee experience and ensuring our HR practices support growth and innovation.

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • A first experience in HR; min. 1 year and max. 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You are able to express yourself fluently in Dutch  French and English
