The Product Validation Associate executes validations of products from the user’s perspective & reports results. He/she may be involved in the planning of validations. The Product Validation Associate identifies product performance problems & participates in the analysis of those problems.
Principal Contributions / Accountabilities & Associated Activities:
-Execute product validation testing
-Report on product testing results
-Identify product problems & defects & report them to more senior Validation Specialists
-Participate in the analysis of product problems & defects
-With guidance, generate protocols, test cases & procedures related to product validations
-Give input into the planning of validations & plan testing with Validation team
-Seek information about the company’s products & their uses
-Prepare defense of validations for internal audits & assist with preparation for external audits
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting with bioMerieux or competitor products
-Bachelors of Science degree
-Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written
-Experience with VITEK 2, VITEK 2 Compact, VITEK MS, OBSERVA, MYLA, VIRTUO and/or BacT/ALERT preferred
-Experience with setup/maintenance/troubleshooting of computer interfaces is desired
