This role is an individual contributor role responsible for inputting and maintaining all SAP required data for Reagent contracts for the North America division of the company. This role will coordinate with the sales team and other business functions to manage the contract life cycle.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
Reviews contract quotations as necessary to ensure pricing is in compliance with company guidelines.
Create Reagent contract records in SAP timely and accurately.
Logs and maintains contract data and documentation in CRM.
Analyze and report all acquisition method reagent agreement commitment compliance.
Conduct quarterly contract compliance calls with the sales management and follow up on action items.
Create customer’s pricing components in SAP. Reconcile the bundled pricing components to the customer’s contract YPR1 price.
Systematically review customer pricing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Verify the proper accounting treatment is applied for each contract.
Coordinate with the install base team to reconcile placed instrument to active reagent contracts.
Assist the pricing team in resolving customer pricing disputes.
Coordinate with the Equipment Contracts Specialists to manage the life cycle of the contract.
Prepare necessary contract revenue recognition journal entries.
Support contract buyouts or end of contract life FMV for contract profitability and contract renewal.
Oversee contract expiration process.
Assist with formal bids for City, County, State, and Private Institutions.
Logs and maintains vendor registrations as necessary.
Reviews and approves request for equipment returns.
Assist with General Ledger reconciliations and any related research as required.
Assist with internal and external audits as required.
Assist with month end and year end close activities and related journal entries as required.
Other duties and special projects as assigned Contracts Manager and Director.
Training and Education
Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work related experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred.
Minimum of two years accounting experience; preferably in a contract management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient with Microsoft office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; advanced excel skills necessary
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Effective organization, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential
Understanding of general accounting principles, to include debits, credits, fixed asset accounting and general ledger account reconciliations
Data analysis skills including exporting/importing data, data reporting in excel and ERP
May be asked to lift and move boxes weighing 50 lbs. or less.
