Regional Market Analyst

 

 

 

  1. Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job :

 

The Data Analyst is accountable for developing the appropriate Market Analysis process and Performance Monitoring for the LatAm region (Capture, analyze, centralize and share LatAM clinical market data, competitor, deep customer insights, trend analysis…) using quantitative and qualitative data…internal and external…to support and guide strategic and tactical business decision in full alignment with Global Marketing Team

 

  1. Main Accountabilities :
  • Develop for the region and each LatAm countries the process and system to build a deep Market & Customer Understanding & efficient performance monitoring system
  1. Starting with a solid Market & Customer analysis…highlighting strong insights to guide business development and directions & deliver solid inputs to Global for Life Cycle Management
  2. Develop and coordinate - for the key knowledge gap identified-  a clear action plan mixing Internal & External resources
  • Identify clear objectives and methods
  • For internal projects drive the development, administration of discussion guide / questionnaire and perform analysis and communication of results – including recommendation – to guide decisions
  • For external projects drive the agency selection and coordination to achieve defined
  1. Constantly enrich the existing tools by performing a proactive intelligence search on existing options
  2. Build performance analysis mixing different indicators: Sell-out vs. Sell-in in distributors’ model countries, market growth, market shares, win/loss rates for tenders, Installed Base consumption
  3. Establish a two ways communication with the Global Marketing Customer Insight team
  • Support the Marketing process
  1. Better guide the sales on who to target in priority and how (criteria & proxys) – with link to the CRM/CVM
  2. Develop a solid performance monitoring of our Marketing plan and Actions - mixing leading & lagging indicators
  • Support the forecasting process for supply and for new products launching
  1. Provide quantitative analyses based on market, sales, disease prevalence data and trends to understand, past, present and model potential future business evolutions

 

3.       Typical Eduction-Experience, Skills and Qualifications :

  • Education and Experience :
    • o Post-graduate degree in Science and/or in Business/Marketing with +5 years’ experience of Data Analytics role in IVD and/or Pharmaceutical Industry
    • In depth knowledge and understanding of Data Analytics to support business decisions & drive stronger impact
  • Skills and Qualifications :
  • Technical skills around data Management: agility with all the information systems tools, database…and Market Research
    • Strong analytical skills required
    • Rigorous, fact based and methodical
    • Ability to translate business questions into data-related questions to produce business recommendations
    • Ability to communicate results simply & clearly to different audiences
    • Strong team player capable to work cross-functionally and lead through influence
    • Able to handle several priorities and good learning agility
    • Deliver commitments on time (result & progress oriented)
    • Strong business acumen with solid commercial understanding

Position will be allocated preferably in Chile or Colombia
