Position Summary:

Conducts technical activities related to automation or production equipment according to the planning and priorities established by the department. This position will also be expected to troubleshoot, support and improve current and new automation systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, Data Historian).

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Uses knowledge of technique and method such as automation (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, Data Historian), engineering and project management
  • For the assigned activities, coordinates and prioritizes sub-activities, leading and managing them to ensure targeted effectiveness is obtains within specified time and budgetary guidelines in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Defines, measures and analyzes data in order to set the appropriates technical specifications as well as key performance metrics.
  • Provides support as a subject matter expert to maintain automation system in a compliant and fit for intended use state.
  • Conducts failure investigation and implement solutions (corrective and preventive actions) that solve automation problems, follow up on corrective and preventive actions to determine their effectiveness and suitability, and prepare written reports on these activitie

 

 Position Qualifications:

Studies-Experience:

BS degree with > 3 years of duty in a technical position
Skills and Qualifications:
-Knowledge of project management, Lean6Sigma, Good Manufacturing practices
-Experience with programming of PLCs and HMIs, and administering computer systems and infrastructure is required
