Position Summary:

The HISS Sales Executive manages and leads implementation of CLARION and end‐to‐end sales activities within a defined region. He/ She ensures collaborative cross selling involving local field representatives, regional business manager, field application specialist, and the corporate account manager. The HISS Sales Executive’s role requires a consultative interface with multiple customer touch points within the Acute Care, Reference Lab, and Veterinary setting including: Laboratory, IT, Clinical Pharmacy, Quality, and Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs. She/ He is accountable to attain individual revenue and contract goals while effectively contributing to the acceleration of sustainable profit growth as an outcome of the Software as a Service business model.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Consultative interface with multiple customer touch points within the Acute Care, Reference Lab, and Veterinary setting including: Laboratory, IT, Clinical Pharmacy, Quality, and Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs.
  2. Responsible for attaining individual revenue and contract goals.
  3. Effectively contribute to the acceleration of sustainable profitable growth through the execution of a Software as a Service business model.
  4. Lead CLARION sales opportunity management through the technical close and financial close processes.
  5. Coordinate customer implementation and expanded utilization of CLARION.
  6. Improve customer centricity and competency around our commercial capabilities of Rapid Diagnostics in a healthcare provider setting.
  7. Collaboration with the US Clinical Sales and Marketing organizations in the promotion of our software portfolio.


Studies and Experience:

  1. Bachelor Degree required. MBA or medical professional degree preferred.
  2. Work experience within a healthcare provider preferred (Laboratory, Pharmacy).
  3. Functional knowledge of IT systems and connectivity within the healthcare market segment (ie. LIS, EMR, CDS systems).
  4. Working knowledge of Software as a Service business model in a clinical setting.
  5. Working knowledge of acute care, clinical and laboratory environment.
  6. Minimum 5‐years sales experience.


Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Presentation and advanced communication skills in a B2C and B2B environment.
  2. Functional Computer, CRM, Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic IT knowledge (related to Data Management, Networking, HIPAA and Cyber Security).
  3. Ability to work in a matrix environment without authority.
  4. Role Model Leadership Skills.
  5. Situational Awareness to internal and external customers within accelerated and emerging business environments.
  6. Self‐Directed work ethic.
  7. Goal drive oriented.
  8. Logical thinking and problem solving skills.
  9. Ability to maintain and advance multiple projects and initiatives at one time.
