The Management Information Systems (IS) is fully involved in bioMérieux’s digital transformation strategy  worldwide. Our IS teams are in charge of key projects such as the global deployment of our Salesforce CRM solution, SAP and IoT (Internet of Things). They also lead “proofs of concept” related to innovative services with high added value for bioMérieux’s activities. They partner with specialized stakeholders on reference technologies (SAP HANA,, Amazon Web Services, SAP Cloud Platform or Microsoft Office 365) to contribute to the constant improvement of bioMérieux’s services.

We are looking for a senior IT vendor relationship manager to join the BioMérieux IS Operation team. You will be responsible of the operational relationship and the service follow up of some key vendor. 


In parallel, you will manage transformation or transition projects of our support or infrastructure vendor. 

You will join a community of vendor managers, bringing your own experience. You will educate the community to raise awareness of best practices in bioMérieux. 


What will be your responsibilities at bioMérieux?


Primary bioMérieux vendor relationship management scope will include: 


Operational relationship 

  • Organize and manage vendor governance: operational and performance reviews 

  • Define and follow contractual service levels 

  • Manage action plan to secure those service levels 

  • Identify pain points and raise them to the right level of governance, track action plans. 

  • Manage transformation or transition projects of our support or infrastructure vendor as part of contract renewal 

  • Ensure contractual obligations are met 

  • Gather feedback from internal stakeholders on quality of delivered services 

  • Monitor Supplier and bioMérieux compliance with the obligations of the agreement. 

  • Monitor Supplier contract-level deliverable commitments.  

  • Develop standard reporting and communication requirements between the supplier and various staff and organizations within bioMérieux. 

  • Develop and assist with negotiations related to all addendums and updates to the agreement that are required during the Term. 

  • Participate to the transition of new services by working on contractual adjustment 

  • Work in close relationship with purchasing team. 


Financial Management: 

  • Establish and manage the overall budget in connection with the agreement. 

  • Monitor that savings objectives for the Agreement are being met in close connection with service management team. 

  • Review and financially analyze all Supplier-sponsored initiatives / Projects to ensure their financial viability. 

  • Assist in and support, as needed, the review of monthly charges to ensure the accuracy of Supplier charges, define with service management team the true up. 

  • Investigate variances in forecasted expenses or usage. 

  • Establish and maintain the bioMérieux charge-back process and systems. 

  • Communicate with bioMérieux Management team on the financial status. 



Who are you?


  • Broad IT experience IT (10 years minimum) in both infrastructure and application 

  • Experience in managed services (>5M€/an), preferably offshore 

  • Leadership : management of virtual teams 

  • Communication 

  • English fluent 

  • French fluent
