Customer Care Intern 


The Customer Care role serves as the key customer representative and is the initial point of contact for any incoming customer request and internal requests for service.

A Customer Care person  is able to evaluate the urgency of the customer’s situation and acts accordingly, in a prompt and professional manner.

She/he leads the effort to manage the distribution of calls by receiving, listening well, asking questions and properly identifying customer needs and expectations. She/he handles autonomously simple requests


Main Responsibilities


The main responsibility of this role is to provide world class customer service from the point of initial contact and manage the customer expectations to ensure a superior customer experience:


  • Manage the customers ‘ request, expectations and handle it consistently
  • Register service requests and check entitlement
  • Set / Check service request severity
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose  and resolve the known issues
  • Service work order preparations for known issues (selecting skills, tools, parts needed to solve the issue)
  • Escalate unresolved request to appropriate and available staff member (manager, technical support..)
  • Update and/or register customer information (data in system, case readiness)
  • Update and/or register installed base information
  • Work as an advocate for customers
  • Identify service sales leads and opportunities
  • Identify need for material, skills and capacity




Typical Studies-Experience, Skills and Qualifications:


Have basic technical knowledge about biology, instruments and software,

IT skills –  Office

Verbal and written English



Ability to manager critical call situations

Analytical skills
