Senior Sales Rep - CDC

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

Senior Sales Rep will assist the sales managers in achieving sales goals and enabling our customers in fully utilizing the clinical potential of our products.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Create new revenue opportunities.
a)Provide expertise necessary to achieve the clinical close portion of the sale working with the RBM.
b)Prospect and qualify leads for new FilmArray revenue.
c)Promote BioFire products and services through product demonstrations, evaluations, or site visits.
d)Develop strategy for ongoing client satisfaction, retention and testimonials.
e)Capitalize on relationship opportunities for cross selling bioMérieux products.
f)Analyze region for revenue opportunities.

Provide education to hospital personnel on clinical pathways and clinical utility of Emergency Diagnostic products
a)Focus areas of Pediatrics, Infection Prevention, Emergency Medicine, ICU, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Laboratory, Pharmacy.
b)Provide formal presentations as well as informal trainings.
c)Facilitate interdepartmental communication to maximize patient solutions within institution.
d)Conduct In-Servicing at key sites.

Support development of Key Opinion Leader Network
a)Develop relationships with key regional institutions.
b)Gain acceptance and implementation of recommended clinical pathways at such sites.
c)Foster relationships with key personnel to serve as references.
d)Establish centers of excellence as benchmark for other customer sites to model.
e)Assist in development of evaluation criteria at such sites evaluating bioMérieux solution.
f)Assist with tracking and developing KOL membership using Network Directory.

Identify and formulate clinical case studies
a) Identify potential clinical case studies from clinicians presenting using FilmArray technology and a syndromic approach to diagnosis.
b) Develop medical case studies using a Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan format.
c) Share medical case studies with presale customers and regional sales team.

Territory Management
a)Coordinate and track book-to-live process of Application Specialists.
b)Increase adoption of suggested clinical pathway(s) in existing customer base.
c)Track critical and lost accounts.
d)Assist in developing and executing retention plan at critical accounts.
e)Coordinate with Application Specialists to troubleshoot process and product issues.
f)Design and coordinate solutions for client.
g)Provide evaluation support for product comparisons.
h)Report industry and market trends.
i)Report client satisfaction and needs.

KNOWLEDGE, LANGUAGE AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor or above in a healthcare field(biology, medicine), Pharmacy background is preferred
1) Around 3 years MEL medical education liaison related experience in Pharmaceutical Companies or Healthcare Companies.
2) Must be familiar with Microsoft office; PowerPoint, Work and Excel, and contact management databases.
3) Knowledge of medical institution hierarchy required.
4) Should be comfortable and have experience, presenting technical information to audiences with various degrees of scientific and clinical experience.
