The Management Information Systems (IS) is fully involved in bioMérieux’s digital transformation strategy worldwide. They also lead “proofs of concept” related to innovative services with high added value for bioMérieux’s activities. Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job:
Ensure required Engineering and validation support for the manufacture and packaging of the BacT/ALERT product line are available to meet or exceed production targets and quality. Execute assigned projects to ensure assets are efficiently deployed to minimize scrap and rework while maximizing OEE, cost of finished goods, and yield. Provide direct leadership for business critical projects including, design, startup and implementation of new equipment, facilities and processes.
Context of the Job and Major Challenges:
Execute assigned Continuous Improvement, Cost of Goods Reduction, and Efficiency Projects to ensure the site goals are met. Develop improvement strategies for existing equipment and processes. Develop projects and manage change request as required to maintain and improve equipment performance. Act as a troubleshooter to identify and remove barriers and obstacles that could impede progress. Provide advice and guidance regarding project management.

Prioritize work load. Execute projects as they are developed and executed to ensure they are completed in a timely manner. Communicate changes to project plans as needed. Develop areas of need as required. Assist in day to day issues as required. Participate in facilitate equipment improvement teams and ensure the teams are successful and effective. Has credibility with maintenance, management, quality, and operations.
