An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Field Application specialist role specialising in our Industry products. The Field Application Specialist role is the front-line technical support representative and is responsible for providing
solution-oriented consultative training, technical support and troubleshooting at customer site, at every stage of contact on each technical support interaction in the field.

 

What will be your responsibilities at bioMerieux? 

 Performes pre-installation inspections/audits,
 Coordinates and delivering technical training,
 Act as a consultant and support bioMérieux’s product lines,
 Answers internal and external customer inquiries
 Provides proactive and corrective fine tuning of assay applications to ensure optimal analytical performance
 Ensures regulatory compliance through timely and accurate documentation in the ERP system
 Completes all after- technical support documentation (ERP/CRM) necessary to update the planners, customer
administration, customer care
 Consults and collaborates with Support Center team, installation project managers, management, GCS, GICS…
 Supports the sales team and sales cycle by providing technical sales support in preparing tenders, contracts, product
presentations and demonstrations.
 Captures competitive environment, leads and opportunities
 Contact the planner/dispatcher with arrival time if outside of expected window
 Confirm reception and update work orders with the planner/dispatcher
 Executing service work orders
 Technical documenting and reporting
 Keep stakeholders informed/updated
 Provides consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet key performance indicators(KPIs)
 Process hours/expenses

 

Who are you?

This role requires someone results oriented, who operates with a sense of urgency and sets priorities in accordance with the needs of the company and the customer. You retain current customer business, by developing and building customer relationships  that result in customer loyalty, retention, renewal and positive referrals. This position requires someone who is a self-starter, with the ability to deliver a customer experience, while working
remotely without direct supervision and able to travel within their assigned geographic area on short-notice.
 

This role is 60% field and 40% office based. 

You will be working in a team of 4 in the UK & Ireland team as well as working with your Northern European peers.
