Sourcing Manager

Position Summary:

The IS/IT Senior Buyer will be responsible for executing regional sourcing activities (RFI, RFP) for the Americas region and for supporting global strategies deployment in that region. He/She will collaborate with the Category Managers / Purchasing Manager to ensure that any regional activity is conducted in accordance with the category strategies. He/she will support operations regionally and at the site level: manage the regional / global supplier relationships, ensure the compliance of contracts, manage supplier performance, etc… It is expected from the Senior Buyer to be polyvalent, capable to develop in an international environment and to be at ease with different types of IS/IT purchases (hardware, telecom, software, consulting services, etc…)

Responsibilities:

Part of the Global Indirect Purchasing team, your main missions are:

• Be a partner to key stakeholders, primarily IS (Information System) and Business Units; provide support through all steps of the Purchasing process

Manage RFP Process, including:

• Risk Analysis
• Manage cost and commitment strategy in coordination with assigned categories

• Lead financial and contractual negotiations
• Collaborate with stakeholders on key contractual aspects of the negotiated deals

Vendor Management

• Be an active contributor to Vendor Management program
• Manage regional and global governance including contractual relationship, performance monitoring (thru Business Reviews, KPIs …)
• Manage financial dimension of the contracts

Compliance

• Accountable for compliance with Purchasing processes & procedures: good documentation practices, Supplier Steering Committees, risk mitigation
• Support supplier audits
• Manage critical suppliers watch list
• Lead some continuous improvement initiatives

Support Market Intelligence & Best Practices

• Perform market studies, benchmarks, participate in international forums
• Facilitate the capture of innovation from suppliers, promote bMx Corporate Social Responsibility practices
• Identify and execute cost reduction / optimization initiative

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• BS degree required with 2+ years IS/IT purchasing experience across various sub-categories (Telecom, Infrastructure, Software, Consulting…).
• Experience or interest in working in an international environment. Previous experience within IS/IT organization and project management experience is a plus
• Individual should be open-minded, with potential to grow within the organization
