Position Summary:
The IS/IT Senior Buyer will be responsible for executing regional sourcing activities (RFI, RFP) for the Americas region and for supporting global strategies deployment in that region. He/She will collaborate with the Category Managers / Purchasing Manager to ensure that any regional activity is conducted in accordance with the category strategies. He/she will support operations regionally and at the site level: manage the regional / global supplier relationships, ensure the compliance of contracts, manage supplier performance, etc… It is expected from the Senior Buyer to be polyvalent, capable to develop in an international environment and to be at ease with different types of IS/IT purchases (hardware, telecom, software, consulting services, etc…)
