The Brand Plan Manager is responsible for multiple dimensions of the Brand Planning Program for bioMerieux Clinical Operations in the US.

 

Reporting directly to the Director of US Brand Planning, this position includes some leadership responsibilities:

  • in the development and the execution tracking of the US marketing plans,
  • as well as in the development of insightful content for the Brand Plan preparation work, the Brand Plan execution tracking, and the Brand-Plan related events.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

Under the supervision and in close collaboration with the Director of Brand Planning, the Brand Plan Manager will be responsible for the following:

  1. Management of various aspects of the Brand Plan program in the US related to Brand planning process design, Brand Plan execution tracking, content development for Brand Plan related events.
  2. Run and formalize relevant analysis on the company and on the market to inform the Brand Plan preparation work
  3. Create individual Brand Plan Execution Workbooks for the Product Managers / Market Managers as well as a consolidated US Brand Plan booklet at the beginning of each year.
  4. Work with the Product and Market Managers to collect their execution updates on a regular basis
  5. Prepare and circulate informative execution update reports on a regular, per product and/or per relevant Marketing audience group.
  6. Develop and run various analysis to estimate the impact of the tactical execution on Brand Plan goal achievements, such as lead generation and conversion, sales cycle, budget reconciliation, and other metrics.
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvements on the Brand Plan program in the US.
  8. Serves as a key liaison interfacing and collaborating with the US Marketing team – PMs, MMs, ADs, Directors - as well as the dependency teams that are critical for Brand planning and Brand Plan execution and the US: Global Marketing, MARCOM, Medical Affairs, Customer Support, Legal, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs.
  9. Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

The Brand Plan Manager will accomplish her/his work as an outcome of influencing colleagues through collaboration and active communication.

This position gives exposure to the entire US Clinical Marketing teams as well as multiple dependency teams within the broader company. It is a great opportunity to be directly exposed and active in a variety of commercial topics, from marketing strategy to operations / execution. The position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and is not a remote assignment Travel time will not exceed 15%.

Qualifications

Training and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business Administration or related field.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Specific training/certification related to project management is a plus.

 

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of Marketing experience required
  • Experience with Project Management is a plus.
  • Experience with regulated products and understanding of clinical diagnostics is a plus.

  • Knowledge, special skills and/or abilities required to perform the job functions (e.g., negotiation, technical writing; statistical evaluation).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to deliver insightful analysis such as market sizing and market share estimations, return on investment, OPEX analysis, etc.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with people from various backgrounds
  • Demonstrated communication and listening skills
  • Ability to see the full picture, but detail-oriented work ethic
  • Experience with and ability to meet deadlines
  • Results-oriented, high energy self-starter with high level of personal initiative and an attitude of continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel, Word) is a must.
  • Working knowledge of SalesForce is a plus.
  • Experience with Brand Planning is a plus.
