Middleware Systems & Support Engineer

What will your missions be within bioMérieux?

 

Within the “R&D - Systems Development - IT Solutions” Department whose mission is to design and develop bioMérieux commercial software, your role will be to participate in the development and support of the MYLA product. MYLA is the middleware solution that integrates bioMerieux instruments into the information system of our customer's microbiology laboratories. MYLA is now deployed in more than 40 countries.

 

You will strengthen the team of MYLA System Engineers, your main missions will be:

 

- Support the MYLA product by piloting changes related to deployment methods, cybersecurity, support tools or product improvement while respecting the procedures and regulations in place;
- Carry out investigations as part of the Level 3 Support activities (last level of support and directly in connection with the developers) of the MYLA product in order to respond to field problems;
- Support the activities of V&V (installation of test platform, troubleshooting);
- Ensure a technological watch to consider innovative solutions adapted to the problems encountered by our customers;
- Promote the growth of the technical expertise of members of the Middleware team;
- Write technical documentation and develop procedures if necessary;
- Occassional installation of new versions of Middleware to carry out pilots for our customers and train field engineers in new processes

 

Who are you ?

Knowledge and skills:


• Bachelor's Degree or Master's preferred  with good knowledge in information technology particularly in OS, Software, Cyber ​​Security and network / infrastructure.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of laboratory computing or in the IT technology sector
• Knowledge of FDA, QSR, ISO standards and good documentary practices
• Confirmed English (written, oral)
