The bioMérieux Legal Department is a dynamic team engaged in a wide variety of projects at many levels of the organization. The Associate Corporate Counsel position is an integral part of that environment where practicality, communication and collegiality are necessary components.
Core Responsibilities:
The Associate Corporate Counsel position will report to the VP and General Counsel, North America, and will be expected to provide a broad range of legal analysis, services, support and counsel to the business. This is role is deal for someone with 2 to 5 years of broad M&A transactional experience, preferably obtained from a large law firm or in-house practice, and experience should include: (1) managing due diligence and other parts of M&A transactions, (2) drafting and assisting with negotiating agreements, and (3) preferably some experience involving private equity related transactions. This role will also provide support on issues of FDA law, regulation and policy, government policy and enforcement, and in the compliance area, including:
