Product Marketing Manager-Biofire Respiratory Panel

Position Summary:

The Product Manager will be responsible for executing product management responsibilities associated with current and future clinical products in the portfolio area as assigned. The portfolio of products is grouped as Pre-Analytical, Analytical and Post-Analytical.  The responsibilities include: solid technical knowledge and understanding of the product, forecasting/supply issues, monitor quality and address issues as they arise.  The product manager with work with the marketing team with product positioning, developing marketing action plan and launch new products

 

Responsibilities:

  • Gain and maintain knowledge of the overall product portfolio
  • Subject matter expert for assigned products
  • Monitors product quality and availability
  • Understand the strengths, weaknesses, and product competition
  • Interacts with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Develops and implements training programs
  • Analyzes product trends and existing pricing structure
  • Manage product life cycle
  • Complies with company quality management systems, policies and procedures
  • Assist in the RFP process
  • Understands the regulatory and legal aspects of product promotion
  • Serves as the technical expert for product launches
  • Additional duties/responsibilities according to business needs

 

Studies and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, science/business and/or medical device background preferred
  • 3+ years’ in product management, marketing and/or lab operations or equivalent combination

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical product knowledge
  • Able to communicate technical knowledge to broad spectrum of people
  • Strong Presentation skills
  • Some analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Business acumen along with demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct and appearance
  • Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and proficiency with the Internet
  • Passionate, high energy and result oriented with creative and analytical mind
  • Team player attitude: ability to collaborate with other
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Travel will be required
