The Global Customer Service is looking for a Global Application Specialist who will be dedicated to provide effective support, training & coaching to bioMérieux subsidiaries and distributors and to promote technical voice of customers for product development of bioMérieux. In Expert Unit Microbiology department, you will be in charge of our new solution Fast AST, Specific Reveal®. At first, you will need to act as pioneer for this product by collaborating with our partner to insure the knowledge transfer, the go to market and the deployment on the field. Then, you will act as an expert of the solution and also support some other products and systems of the Microbiology panel such as VITEK 2 or VITEK-MS.
What will be your missions at bioMérieux?
Provides Emergency Support to our customers, subsidiaries and/or distributors for suggestions, questions or complaints
Coach and support of Field Service Representatives onsite
Lead action plans for critical situations and / or contribute to task force
Create learning plan including training & coaching our Local Customer Service Representatives
Assess quality of training program and proficiency level of trainees
Contributes to the design and development of service tools for an optimize Local Customer Service (parts pictorials, troubleshooting guide, FAQ, etc...)
Executes project activities linked to Customer Service (ie: review service manuals)
Provides feedback on product/service improvement to GCS PMO
Creates and updates training modules following processes
Creates digital and distance learning content
Creates & facilitates a customized learning plan for subs as needed
Manages delocalized training
Participates and Contributes to strategic Projects and meetings with key stakeholders (R&D, SE&S, Quality, etc.)
Contributes to continuous improvements to the current products / services, training materials and service tools, etc.
Who are you ?
Bachelor degree in biology, ideally you have a previous experience as Application Specialist.
You have a good understanding of laboratories and hospitals and ideally you have knowledge about bioMérieux’s Microbiology products.Have a system view approach (instrument/software/reagent) and become a referent of one product line.
Ability to perform simple FSE actions (ie: replace spare part or open device)
Experience with connection of IVD systems to Laboratory Information System
Committed to customer and to service with a sense of urgency and accountability
Have a system view approach (instrument/software/reagent)
Training designer; both in-class and distance learnings using provided tools to create training content.
Autonomous and (self-)disciplined
Cross cultural flexibility.
Dynamic learner and trainer/coach (hands on approach)
Networking/IT knowledge is a plus.
Travel: between 40% and 60% for 1st year, 25% after.
