The Global Customer Service is looking for a Molecular Biology Application Specialist who will report directly to the GCS Molecular Biology manager. As a Molecular Biology Application Specialist you will give support to bioMérieux subs and distributors for the bioMérieux Molecular Biology product range. Providing support will help to sustain sales growth and to retain existing customers.
What will be your mission at bioMérieux ?
Guide the local team to improve their technical skills and their autonomy to support the bioMérieux Molecular Biology products. This includes training and coaching the local team to help them in providing the best possible customer service to the subs and distributors.
Assist subs and distributors with customer issues and contribute to actions plan in case of a critical situation.
Work closely with the project teams, R&D, marketing, and regulatory departments to assist in the continuous improvement of our products and services, and to increase our service value with the launch of new products and updates of existing products.
Who are you ?
A bachelor or master graduate in Biology, Biotechnology, Bio-Chemistry, Bio-Engineering or related fields.
You have preferably 2-3 year experience in Customer Service.
You have an interest in bioinformatics applied to microbial data analysis. Knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing data analysis is not required but considered as a plus.
