We are seeking a Lab Efficiency Business Developer to join our EME Clinical Operations team! This position will report directly to the EME Strategic Accounts Senior Director and functionally to the Vice President of the METER Cluster.

 

The activity will be split between Strategic Accounts (60%) and METER (40%).

 

This position is to be based in France with travel expected within the EME Region (30-40%).

 

What will be your responsibilities within bioMérieux?

In this position, you will establish business relationships with major prospects and contribute to the strategic sales plan to accompany their Microbiology Lab Automation transformation  projects while coordinating with local commercial and marketing organizations with the ambition of building a sustainable double digit growth for 2025.

 

  • You will have a critical role in supporting the full Lab Automation offer especially in cross selling with the ID/AST (identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing) family instruments and IT solutions.
  • You will contribute to develop and organize lab efficiency activities by demonstrating added value of our solutions
  • You will help manage the opportunities in project mode including customer & stakeholder meetings,  solution design,  product presentations,  argumentation, as well as technical and financial offer preparations.
  • You will contribute to long term growth and partnership strategies with our major international customers / Labchains.  
  • You will act as the link between the local teams with the Regional, Global and COPAN teams for any support, business model expectations, offers
  • You will lead solution development efforts, generates initiatives and implements processes with the operational excellence consultant to best address our strategic and key customer needs, through coordinating the involvement of all necessary internal resources for lab automation
  • You will collaborate closely with our legal department to lead lab automation contract development in addition to ensure their compliance

 

Who are you ?

  • You have a Master’s degree in Healthcare/Life science and/or business management
  • You have a solid track record of over 10 years’ experience in sales and/or lab efficiency in the clinical diagnostic and/or healthcare market
  • You have proven international exposure in leading and managing complex projects and cross functional resources with the ability to co-build business strategy and translate it into actions.
  • One of your many talents is negotiating and you demonstrate excellent interpersonal  and communication skills; you have a strong ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  • You are a self-starter, optimistic with a “can do” attitude and embrace a growth mindset
  • You are recognized for your excellent business acumen with understanding of sales performance / lab efficiency metrics.
  • You are Fluent in English (oral, written), fluency in French or German would be a real asset.
