Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job

Main Accountabilities
- Lead and drive the annual sales budget process and formulate appropriate country long-range plans. Establishing and exceeding sales, market share, and profit targets within the designated market
- Formulate and drive appropriate country Marketing strategies in collaboration with the General Manager – Asean North and Regional Business Managers.
- Leading the development of bioMérieux’s relationship with customers.
- Respecting the operational expenses budget & overall profit for their team and the whole company
- Compliance of their team set policies and practices as well as leading the continuous development of our Quality System.
- Managing Financial and Physical resources.
- Respecting Corporate policies and taking into account the needs of the entire business
- Establishing and managing the right distribution channel to drive growth
Typical Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers distributors and opinion leaders
- Communicate and liaise with global and regional marketing.
- Prepare, implement and modify, when necessary, an annual Sales & Marketing Plan.
- Liaise with external providers (advertising, public relations, market research, Government departments, etc) including building a pool of strong Key Opinion Leaders
- Co-ordinate Corporate functions, External conferences, Sales & Marketing meetings.
- Prepare annual sales & expense budgets and YE forecasts.
- Monitor and report on sales & marketing strategies
- Monitor market shares, competitor activities and market trends in order to identify market opportunities.

- Administer a bonus & commission scheme for their team.
- Monitor and control the expenses of their team.
- Team leadership (recruitment, retention, engagement, appraisal, training & development, mentoring, motivation, renewal).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Skills/Educational Requirements
- At least 7 years’ experience in Sales and/or Marketing in a related industry in a managerial position
- Strong communication & analytical skills. Advantageous to have a demonstrated creative ability.
- Strong people & Sales & Distributor Management experience, combined with a strong Ethics & Compliance mindset
- Proficiency in database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent in science, business or laboratory technology advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams.
- Fluency in Vietnamese mandatory. Fluency in English is advantageous
