Position Summary:

The Senior Human Resource Business Partner acts as a strong advocate for team members while supporting business leaders across multiple locations in the areas of responsibility in planning, implementing and managing HR policies, programs and procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  • First Point of Contact for business leaders and is the primary support for Executive Level leaders and responsible for strong communication & collaboration with HR COEs and other HRBPs as well as Global HRBPs.
  • Provides input on position profiles and/or open positions to Talent Acquisition.
  • Designs robust onboarding plans for new hires.
  • Fosters and promotes internal mobility with leaders.
  • Contributes to Functional Team meetings and provide team development support.
  • Enables leaders in effective coaching and development of their teams.
  • Advises on organizational design elements with their Business Groups as needed.
  • Brings proactive HR support for business initiatives.
  • Ensures accurate data and timely updates within myHR.
  • Advocates for the Company’s team members.
  • Understands the client groups’ business, key activities, priorities and strategy as well as their team members as an active member of the leadership team.
  • Primary responsibility for experience of customer group (incl. workers comp, conflict resolution, performance management).
  • Ensure applicable legislation is adhered to.
  • Coach & Develop HR Team Members, as applicable.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of HR.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Studies and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Graduate degree (HRM/MBA) is highly desirable. HR Certification is a plus.
  • 10 years of increasingly responsible experience in human resources driving business outcomes with strong organizational development skills, knowledge, and tools.
  • Previous HR experience in medical device/biotech field HR experience preferred.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, results and team orientation and a commitment to the highest level of integrity are required to be successful in the role.
  • Proven Organization, Leadership, Critical thinking and effective communication skills are a must
  • Demonstrated ability to balance HR requirements against business needs to provide creative solutions for business success is critical.
  • Ability to influence without authority is essential.
  • Proactive, high energy and self driven
