Position Summary:

Recommend the design of benefit offerings, policies, and processes. Implement and manage benefit policies, procedures, and strategies optimizing costs, attracting talent, and motivating team members. The Benefits Team will be the first-line contact for questions from team members, managers, executives, and HR colleagues regarding benefit processes and policies, with global consistency and local applicability.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage benefit policies, systems, programs, and procedures. 
  • Evaluate and recommend the definition and optimization of the benefit programs (methods, providers, costs, fiscal implications, and tools) in a coherent and harmonized manner.  These programs include but are not limited to; health insurance administration, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan, wellness program, disability and leave administration.
  • Coordinate and manage the Benefits team (2+ Specialists), organization structure, work methods, resource optimization, budget control, training, and development plans. 
  • Collaborate with human resources and finance teams on the implementation of benefits programs.   
  • Vendor management/monitoring
  • Responsible for the execution of the annual open enrollment process, materials, and presentations
  • Maintain knowledge of market and legislative compensation and benefits trends, and make evaluate costs/benefits to the company. Ensure team is adhering to all requirements of benefit compliance (including but not limited to: 401(k), 5500 filings, 1094/5C filing, NDT testing, state leave policies, audits, etc.)
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators for the area of responsibility. 
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1+ years of indirect or direct management experience required.
  • 6+ years of experience in comprehensive benefits administration and compliance
