What are your responsibilities at bioMérieux?

Reporting directly to the US R&D Product Cybersecurity Leader in charge of bioMerieux products cybersecurity, you are in charge of coordinating all Cybersecurity Training and Awareness programs, and contributing to product security related communications in cooperation with learning and development, communications and the cybersecurity teams.

 

  • As a Cybersecurity Training and Awareness Coordinator, you are a key contributor to the development and strengthening of our cybersecurity program interacting at different levels of the organization.
  • You help define and carry out priority projects intended to support the cybersecurity knowledge and skills of all stakeholders involved in the organization
  • You manage the activity of our external partners working on topics related to activities of your perimeter.
  • You are responsible for the commitments made to internal customers, both on the scope, as well as deliverables, costs and planning.
  • You identify the training and awareness requirements for all levels and roles within an international medical device manufacturer and ensure those requirements are met via role appropriate courses and programs. This includes development engineers, support personnel, legal and financial teams.
  • You coordinate the building or buying of materials and services to complete your mission

  • You act as an expert and facilitator with the various actors requiring security awareness and training
  • You show initiative and are committed to make you subjects, your colleagues and your team progress, locally as well as globally.
  • You establish and maintain strong partnership relationships with the Learning and Development team involved in the creation, distribution and tracking of training and awareness needs 

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • You are responsible for the execution and improvement of our Cybersecurity Training and Awareness program and curricula in collaboration with Learning and Development stakeholders and the cybersecurity team.
  • You contribute to define and monitor the budget items in your scope in close collaboration with your manager.
  • You identify and share the projects to be implemented to achieve the expressed ambitions (planning, budget, resources).
  • You supervise the performance of external contributors involved in your scope.
  • You contribute to the construction of external communications and disclosures related to product security

 

Studies and Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in training & development and awareness activities, cybersecurity, and with knowledge in software development

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sense of initiative and strength of proposal
  • Relational skills with a strong aptitude for teamwork in an international context
  • In-depth knowledge of instructional design and more specifically of cybersecurity training needs
  • Project management fundamentals
  • Fluent English (written, oral) 
  • French language skills are a plus
