Position Summary:

Responsible for the overall facility and oversees contracted service suppliers such as housekeeping, mechanical services, building services, and production services. Performs technical activities related to execution of site capex projects according to the site roadmap.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and prioritizes activities in collaboration with key stakeholders, leads and manages those activities to ensure the goal is obtained within specified time and budgetary guidelines 
  • Drives supplier efficiency, set expectations, manages contracts, and makes sure deliverables meet quality and delivery expectations with purchasing support.
  • Oversees facility service suppliers and tracking of facility related PM program 
  • Is accountable for budget, cost reduction, compliance to regulatory requirements.
  • Provides support as a SME to maintain systems in a compliant and ready for use state
  • Implement solutions (corrective and preventive actions) that address continuous improvement and quality improvements.
  • Anticipates obstacles and challenges; acts with urgency to overcome them.

 

Studies and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a Facilities Management role
  • 7 + years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Management of outside contractors
  • Tracking of facilities budget
  • Tracking key performance indicators such as project budget, timeline and effectiveness of deliverables
  • Knowledge of quality \ regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work in a cross functional environment
  • Project management methodologies

 

Impact/Management Scope:

  • Working on a daily basis cross functionally to solve issues in support of site manufacturing and site metrics.
  • Project planning, research, and design of new equipment to support site manufacturing.
  • Input into site capex planning and department budget.
  • Creates capital requests for projects as required.
