bioMerieux has a position open for a Film Array Service Sales Representative to join our team based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

 

Position Summary:

Maintains and establishes growth of the current warranty agreement base and create new business opportunities through conversion of warranty expirations to sold service contracts. Conducts telemarketing activities contacting customers who do not have warranty contracts and discusses the value of our contract offerings. 

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of the bioMérieux, Inc.  Quality System.
  • Drive new business revenue through converting contract expirations into sold warranty agreements. 
  • Maintain existing customer business to minimize lost service agreement business.
  • Articulate service contract value proposition to customers.
  • Manage pipeline to ensure timing of closes matches Monthly Forecast & Quarterly Business Plan.
  • Works collaboratively with sales, support, marketing and customers to ensure attainment of customer satisfaction.
  • Administer warranty contract quotes, purchase orders and invoicing.
  • Quote warranty contract offerings to customers.
  • Submits invoices and purchase orders to Customer Service and Finance.
  • Assists customer and internal team with resolving warranty contract billing disputes.
  • Maintain database of current customer instruments/contracts to determine systems with expiring warranty coverage in need of contracts and/or contract renewals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Studies and Experience:

  • HS diploma or equivalent is required, Bachelor’s degree in science or business related field preferred.
  • No experience required; however, related experience in a sales/lead generating role is strongly preferred.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarization with all Film Array products preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.com preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional customer interaction skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Mature and pleasant telephone demeanor
  • Strong basic office and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good problem solving, conflict resolution and decision making abilities
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Math and basic finance skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work with little supervision
  • Knowledge of warranty offerings and sales processes preferred
