Our French subsidiary is looking for a Team Manager - National Field Application Specialists, under a permanent contract, who will work and grow within the Customer Service Department. You will report to the Director of Clinical Customer Service France and will be in charge of a team of 11 members. 


What will be your mission at bioMérieux ? 

  1. Team Management 

  • Manage a team of 11 Field Application Specialists (FS) in the Bacteriology division, working throughout France 

  • Define the objectives of the division and its employees 

  • Ensure the development of skills and coaching of the team 

  • Ensure change management (tools, processes, skills, etc.) 

  • Anticipate and guarantee the adequacy of resources to carry out the activity  

  • Ensure the respect of quality and compliance processes for the department 


  1. Operations Management 

  • Coordinate and optimize the operational interventions of the team in the field to optimize customer satisfaction 

  • Collaborate with all local and global Service teams and also with R&D  

  • Define promotional actions in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams 

  • Participate in customer business reviews in collaboration with the sales teams 

  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives for the French subsidiary and the EME region (Europe - Middle East) 


Who are you ? 

  • Graduate degree in the scientific/medical field and/or business/management  

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management position 

  • Fluent in French and English 

  • You are recognized for your leadership, your dynamism and your ability to federate a team 

  • You are committed to coaching and developing your team members 

  • You like to take initiatives and you have a real customer orientation 

  • You live in France and you have the ability to travel 30%-40% of your time (France & occasionally Europe)
