Position Summary:

The Marketing Communication Project Manager provides needed project leadership to coordinate assigned marketing projects related to bioMerieux/BioFire clinical diagnostic products. This includes facilitating the development, planning, and implementation of marketing plans, programs, events, and product launches utilizing project management methodology.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Project manager for different projects managing timelines and deliverables including product launches
  • Manages/oversees databases for tracking and trending programs and events including lead conversion, sales cycle, budget reconciliation, and other metrics
  • Serves as a key liaison interfacing and collaborating with Marketing, Event Marketing, Digital Media, Legal, Quality Assurance, and other external partners.
  • Supports Product Marketing Managers with execution of marketing strategy and tactics in support of business and brand objectives
  • Coordinates posting/organization of all materials with ShowPad Coordinator
  • Plans and executes promotional events including event coordination and logistics, event collateral, and marketing.
  • Performs general administrative duties and other duties as assigned

The Marketing Communications Project Manager will accomplish her/his work as an outcome of influencing colleagues through collaboration and active communication. The Marketing Project Manager will effectively leverage data to support stakeholder communication.

 

The Marketing Project Communications Manager will work collaboratively with other functional groups to achieve objectives.

 

It is preferred that the Marketing Communications Project Manager position be located in Salt Lake City.

 

Studies and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business Administration or relatedfield required
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Project management certification preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience coordinating multiple projects with extended timelines, moderate complexity, and some problem-solving to complete execution in project management, marketing, communications, or in a related field.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Workfront preferred
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Powerpoint, Word, and Excel) required
  • Experience with regulated medical products and understanding of clinical diagnostics preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize data and project management methodology to influence others required
  • Able to condense information into a cohesive plan, and be able to effectively and efficiently communicate and help execute those plans under the direction of the MarCom Manager or other senior staff.
  • Self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to complete work quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to listen to feedback to hone skills and improve designs
  • Ability to function equally under own initiative as well as under specific instructions
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently as part of a fast-paced team
  • Ability to adjust to changes in scheduling and general flexibility in the work environment
  • Clear and transparent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to stay positive and calm in stressful situations
  • Critical listening skills and an ability to recognize important and high-level information.
  • Organization and extreme attention to detail
  • Can effectively work as part of a team, contribute positively to the team with a helpful and respectful attitude
  • The Marketing Project Manager must be willing to travel to perform assigned work.
