Our Colombia subsidiary is looking for a IT Solutions Manager who will work within the sales team and will report to the General Manager.

By working with bioMérieux IT Solutions Suite, laboratory and hospital engage in strategic projects to  enhance diagnostic & clinical decisions. As IT Solutions Manager You will have the opportunity for driving healthcare change by providing support for our valued customers. You will work closely with the Sales, marketing team, Medical Affairs and Customer Services with focus on IT elements of the solution offer. What will be your responsibilities within Biomerieux ?


  • Collaboration with the Clinical Sales and Marketing organizations in the promotion of our IT software portfolio
  • Work closely with sales team and Lead IT Solutions sales opportunity to our Customer (Hospital and Laboratories ) using your IT expertise
  • Project Manager for: Key Customers, Complex deployments, Platinum customers, etc.
  • Ability to identify Data/Information problems and find solutions to meet customer's requirements
  • Gather, formulate, and escalate feedback from customers’ needs/requirements or market inputs to the appropriate teams
  • Manage customer requirements and complaints from bioMérieux perspective during project Pre-sales and deployment
  • Work with potential customers or existing customer to ensure implementation success:  feasibility study, connectivity and functionalities mapping, identify the data source we need to connect
  • Analyze streamline & optimize patients dataflow between information systems in the Hospital/ Laboratories
  • Data Privacy and Security: ensure compliance with state of the art standard and regulation. Regular communication with Client’s Data Privacy Officer and Chief  Information Secuity Officer. Work in collaboration with Legal team.
  • Responsible for map the different  Commercial Models in Healthcare for IT software in your market
  • Working closely with the Sales team to develop a solution which is technically and commercially viable for the customer
  • Presenting and demonstrating our product offerings relevant to customer objectives remotely and on-site
  • Manage other IT Providers within the project
  • Act as a facilitator and contributor to link and enhance the Full Potential activities.




Who are you ?


  • Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or bacteriology, Computer Science, or other health related (or equivalent professional work experience)
  • +5 years of successful experience in Healthcare or IT Consultant job
  • Experience with Project Management (desired PMP Certification), Business Intelligence
  • Strong experience in proposing and utilizing technologies from a variety of industry leading technology vendors.
  • Technical Background Architecture, Network, security, ….
  • Desire to develop Presales and Sales knowledge as well as customer facing and demonstration skills,
  • Ability to analyze, recommend, and challenge proposals to create the most effective solutions.

  • Fluent in English: oral and written
  • Willing to travel: up to 40 to 60%
