Our automated system VITEK® 2 enables the identification of disease-causing bacteria and antibiotic susceptibility testing in order to target the best possible treatment.

 

We are looking for a qualified intern to join our Global product marketing team in St Louis, Missouri!

This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing.

 

Primary Duties:

The VITEK Product Management and Marketing Intern will work directly with the VITEK Product Managers on projects such as:

 

Tactical execution, competitive Intelligence, promotional messaging, market assessment and segmentation, marketing operations support, general Brand planning support.

 

She/He will also be given the opportunity to:

  • assist in analyzing and reporting of performance KPIs
  • proactively suggest, scope, and work on projects to close defined knowledge gaps.
  • interact with internal stakeholders such as Product manager, R&D, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain and Customer Service

 

Additional duties/responsibilities can be expected according to business needs.

 

Up to 40hrs per week internship, every other Friday is off.

 

Training and Education:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program
  • Marketing/business background is required, or undergraduate with major in marketing

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good analytical skills / Business Analytics
  • Ability to work well under tight timelines
  • Problem-solving
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Business acumen along with demonstrated work ethic, integrity, professional conduct and appearance
  • Skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Passionate, high energy and result oriented with creative and analytical mind
  • Team player attitude: Ability to collaborate with others of various levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, diplomacy and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel
