The Global Customer Service (GCS) department is looking for an NGS Data Management Application Specialist who will report directly to the GCS Molecular Biology Manager. Your role will be to support our subsidiaries and distributors for our molecular biology products in order to sustain our sales growth and customer loyalty.
What will be your missions within bioMérieux?
Assist customers, subsidiaries and distributors with customer questions and complaints and contribute to action plans in case of critical situations.
Train on the use of our services and organize customer demonstrations.
Work closely with the project, R&D, marketing, regulatory and medical affairs departments to contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services as well as to increase the added value of the service in the launch of new products and/or the improvement of existing products.
Represent the customer service voice in R&D projects.
Support the service teams of our subsidiaries in developing their technical skills and autonomy to provide support for our molecular biology products. This includes training/coaching local teams (subsidiaries and distributors) to help them provide the best possible customer service.
Who are you?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bioengineering or related field.
Ideally, you have at least 5 years experience in a customer service environment.
You have an interest in bioinformatics applied to microbial data analysis.
You have skills in "Next Generation Sequencing" data analysis and data science applied to the field of clinical microbiology.
You have strong communication skills with the ability to present information in different formats to various audiences.
You have the ability to actively cooperate with others, especially during training and/or demonstrations for example.
You are fluent in English (written and spoken), fluency in a second language is considered a plus.
