HR Business Partner - Nordics

Our Nordic Human Resources Business Partner will be on paternity leave and we are looking for his replacement.
This position is accountable for supporting operational managers in the Nordics and implementing and managing HR policies, programs and procedures on a local  level. 

You will be located at our office in Gothenburg and start as soon as possible, and work until approximately March/April 2023.

What will your responsibilities be at bioMérieux?

Main Accountabilities include:


  • Support the operational managers with the human resources needed respecting the budget and optimizing the resources. Promote and help employee engagement.
  • Manage employee relations anticipating possible issues and suggesting action plans.
  • Ensure applicable legislation is adhered to.
  • Advise and support managers with their teams, organization effectiveness, performance management and change management skills.
  • Ensure the competencies needed by the employees to support the evolution of the business including introduction and initial training for new starters
  • Contribute to the improvement of HR policies 
  • Manage the fleet and employees related policies at local level
  • Plan and manage general HR related administration, i.e. administer personnel records, compensation and benefits (including payroll and insurance


Who are you? 

Studies and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; 
  • Minimum 2 years HR generalist experience required


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Swedish and English is mandatory
  • Experience liaising with Union Representatives
  • Good knowledge of employment law in Sweden and any other Nordics Countries
  • Able to act and decide responsible with respect to the company strategy
  • Autonomous, keen to improve process and accountable for scope of duties
