Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for clients’ technical satisfaction and ensuring effective utilization of bioMérieux systems and reagents. He/she will provide technical service and support to achieve optimal utilization of bioMérieux products within Clinical laboratories.

 

Responsibilities

•           Effective utilization of bioMérieux systems and reagents by the customer base

•           Maintaining and updating knowledge base to meet customer and company requirements

•           Timely and efficient co-ordination of instrument installations and evaluations

•           Provision of pre and post sales technical information

•           Train customers in all aspects of use of bioMérieux instrumentation, consumables and software

•           Work closely with bioMérieux, distributors team and customers

•           Participate in and co-organize local User Group Meetings and workshops

•           Troubleshooting instrument and reagent problems

•           Support customers on a regular and timely basis

•           Assist to co-ordinate new version software installation

•           Attend conferences and other clinical association meetings as required

•           Liaise with overseas GCS departments

•           Co-ordinate and conduct instrument installations, product evaluations, demonstrations

•           Preparation of technical information relating to tender submissions

•           Liaise with local regulatory authorities under direction of Regional QA/RA Manager

•           Participation in internal audits

•           Perform customer satisfaction surveys and post installation questionnaires

 

Requirements

•           Medical technologist, Bachelor degree or equivalent and have experience in a relevant clinical laboratory in hospital.

•           Knowledge of bioMérieux reagents, instruments and customers, and good knowledge of the scientific/medical environment of the products is highly advantageous

•           Knowledge of competitors and their products

•           Flexible, adaptable and keen to learn

•           Strong analytical and problem solving skills

•           Effective communication – able to teach/ present to scientific community in Thai and English

•           Good time management, results oriented and customer focused
