You are responsible for the forecast quality inside Europe, Middle East and Africa regions, and to actively accompany the transformation of the EMEA Demand processes into Integrated Business Planning processes. For this, you animate all demand management topics for your region (subsidiaries and distributors), and participate to the workgroup in charge of IBP design

You report to the Regional Supply Chain Director.

You also ensures fluid efficient OTIF root causing and action planning for the region.

Your levers are mostly in Managing by influence a 10+ network of local demand planners, and you are yourself the demand planner of few countries/distributor

 

What will be your responsibilities at bioMérieux?

 

  • Ensure the training of local teams on Demand Management processes, tools and guidelines from Corporate Supply Chain facilitating local demand review, guarantee the excellence of local S&OP processes…
  • Gather indirect distributors forecast from the Regional Business Managers and challenges them as well as their network of Subsidiaries in their forecast accuracy, comparing regional forecast with aggregated forecast
  • Perform regional market risk assessment and lead regional demand review; you are responsible for forecast accuracy at the regional level
  • Perform local demand review for METER cluster and for Africa
  • Provide inputs for mid/long range plan & strategy building
  • Steer SC analyst in-depth analysis to drive continuous improvement on Key Performance Indicators (forecast accuracy, inventory level, Service level/on time in full…); manage day-to- day and continuously improves supply chain operations to optimize performance in his/her area
  • Participate to re-designing the organization and processes in preparation/application of the IBP project

 

Who are you?

 

  • You have a Master’s degree ideally with specialization in Supply Chain or Planning Operation
  • You have more than 10 years of experience mostly in Demand Planning / S&OP / IBP
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural environment (Mastery)
  • Ability to show both firmness and diplomacy (Mastery)
  • Ability to synthetize information (Mastery)
  • You are Customer / Business oriented (Mastery)
  • You're known for your expertise in forecasting, strong analytical ability
  • Ability to analyze and communicate risks and opportunities to the business as well as KPIs
  • You are an effective leader with ability to influence and get results from functional teams
