Position Summary

Works under the direction of the Site Project Coordinator for the assigned project(s) supporting a small, fast-paced R&D team. Plans and coordinates project scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks; performs technical writing tasks including creating presentations, flow charts, and procedures; supports the project staff by facilitating project logistics such as meetings, conference rooms, conference calls, etc.; takes meeting minutes and action items during meetings and performs basic follow-up; and assists in development of presentations. This role requires flexibility and an agile mindset.

 

Primary Duties

 

  1. Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMérieux, Inc.’s Quality System.
  2. Assist with project communication to align stakeholders and track goals/milestones.
  3. Run project meetings when project leader is unavailable.
  4. Present project-related updates to large groups.
  5. Share ownership of project-related tasks with project leader, including (but not limited to): meeting minutes, timeline updates, and presentation preparation.
  6. Assist project leader in drafting project proposals, design input documentation, project plans, schedules, presentations, technical reviews, etc.
  7. Analyze relevant project information with project leader (e.g. project status, project issues, etc.)
  8. Assist in project documentation maintenance; ensure that appropriate documentation is complete at project close.
  9. Communicate with project stakeholders to assess and meet program milestones.
  10. Utilize knowledge of the change control process to assist with impact analyses for changes in assigned project.
  11. Assist in drafting risk management plans and/or risk assessments.
  12. Build relationships with project stakeholders.
  13. Gather information on project stakeholders’ wants/needs.
  14. Independently manage small, low complexity projects.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
 

 

 

Qualifications

Training and Education

Minimum education and/or training requirements for this position (i.e., high school diploma, college degree, and/or certification).

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or will substitute for equivalent years of experience (5-8 years experience)

Experience

 

  1. 3-5 years’ experience in Project Management
  2. Preferred Engineering or related field
