1.岗位设立的目的及目标 / PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
Head overall work in relation to scientific strategy and direction with a particular focus on research, innovation, evidenced based practice, quality improvement, and professional leadership. Provide scientific advice and expertise to various groups and people for both internal and external stakeholders, such as the Management Board, Council, Professional Advisory Groups, and other scientific committees. To be successful in this position, he/she will be self-motivated and persistent, with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
2.主要职责 / MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
1)Master segment scientific project to boost private business
Provide high level technical support, tactical and strategic inputs, and technical expertise to product management. Assist in the delivering and monitoring of consistent deliverables for global/regional scientific affairs. Develop and deliver content and events (symposia, round-table discussions, etc.) that position bioMérieux Industry within key market segments and support effective use of digital marketing/marketing automation.
2)Contribute to new market and application development
Identifying product attributes necessary to expand into new markets or capitalize on new applications. Overall support regarding new application of the company's products via results interpretation and best practices, end user education and feasibility study in China. Contribute to the development and medical and scientific accuracy of inputs developed. Maintain and develop expertise on company products, with emphasis on the product portfolio related to specific industry specialty area and expertise.
3)Leverage segment knowledge to internal and external customers
Educate and train field, marketing and other relevant internal stakeholders regarding all aspects of segment regulations, product applications and best practice relevant to the promotional strategy. Identify and support sales efforts through educational customer needs assessment, product and procedural training, in-servicing, and required customer follow up with good knowledge of professional guidelines, standards related to best practices, and evidence-based research articles.
4)Establish professional relationship with KOL and related stakeholders
Build and maintain solid scientific partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOL) in related segment, including those operating within customer, government and regulatory organizations, with a view to leveraging their expertise and influence as needed to advance bioMérieux Industry business objectives. Develop in depth knowledge for relevant sub-segment or industry area(s) through attending relevant congresses, and seminars and by regular self-study of the national/ international literature. Identify and expand the customer base through professional networking, consultation related to best practices and the appropriate use of company products, and timely professional follow-up.
5)Work as 2nd level technical consultant
Provide technical suggestions to fulfil needs from customers and internal stakeholders. Manage and translate technical documents such as FAQ, regulation, and validation report. Continuously update segment related regulation/ product knowledge of field force Provide trouble shooting by handling investigation experiment with BIOMERIEUX product on responsible segment. Fluent communication with global customer service team when needed. Direct, coordinate, and oversee the activities of scientific researches when needed.
3.知识、语言和经验要求 / KNOWLEDGE, LANGUAGE AND EXPERIENCE
•Postgraduate qualification (PhD preferred) in food or pharmaceutical microbiology and/or other relevant biosciences discipline.
•At least 10 years of Relevant bioscience industry experience, ideally in scientific affairs, regulatory affairs, or government liaison role concerned with diverse stakeholder relationships.
•Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, coordination, and time-management skills
•Ability to multitask and work within deadlines, professionally managing competing priorities.
•Able to analyze, recommend, and challenge proposals to create most effective solutions.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including scientific presentations.
•Strong MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word, and experience with web-based applications for relationship management (Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Researchgate, etc.).
