GCS Lab Informatics - IT Expert

Our Clinical Operations department is looking for a Lab Informatics – IT Expert who will work within the Global Customer Service Operation department and will report to the Expert Unit IT manager.

 

The Lab Informatics – IT Expert job is to provide effective support, training & coaching to bioMérieux subsidiaries and distributors on our integrated IT solutions and to promote technical voice of customers in product development.

 

What are your goals?

  • Provide second level emergency support to subsidiaries and distributors integrated IT solutions by remote or on-site (LIS and / or Hospital connectivity - HL7, network, etc.).
  • Contribute to action plans for critical situations and or contribute to task force
  • Facilitate learning plan including training & coaching for subsidiaries and distributors to develop and to maintain their skills related to our integrated IT solutions
  • Assess quality of training program and proficiency level of trainees
  • Contribute to the design and development of tools for subs and distributors to support customers and optimize local services
  • Contribute to support new IT solution launches and deployments.
  • Participate and Contribute to strategic Projects and meetings with key stakeholders (R&D, SE&S, Quality, etc.)
  • Contribute to continuous improvements to the current products / services, training materials and service tools, etc.

 

Who are you?

  • Bachlors degree in Computer Science / Network Architecture / Laboratory Informatics / Middleware or in any technical field or comparable requited, Masters degree preferred.
  • With a minimum of 3 years of experience in HealthCare – IVD in supporting and or deploying Laboratory Informatics Solutions, data management solutions and interoperability of information system in HealthCare environment (ASTM / HL7 / IHE / LOINC / etc.)
  • Skills in biology and knowledge on clinical laboratory workflow and on bioMérieux solutions are plusses,
  • Proficiency of office tools and Operating System and network,
  • Committed to customer and to service with a sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Ability to analyze, recommend, and challenge proposals to create the most effective solutions.
  • Good written and oral communication, efficiency to deliver clear messages,
  • Team player, sense of autonomy and self-discipline,
  • Good organizational skills/ability to multi-task.
  • Agility and capacity to work under pressure and in a moving and challenging environment.
  • Fluent in English: oral and written.

 

This role requires up to 20 to 30% travel.
